Course Enrolment Limitations
The course is offered to students of any study field.
Course objectives
At the end of this course students should be able to create the strategic objectives of enterprise and then implement this goals by means of strategy into the practice. Student is further able to use the acquired information for strategic analysis and interpret the business results from point of view of business strategy assessment.
Syllabus
  • 1. Basic principles and strategic management model. 2. Business strategy formulation. 3. Business environment analysis (incl. SWOT analysis). 4. Strategic analysis and optimal strategy access. 5. Innovation aspects within business strategy. 6. Risk management in context of business strategy. 7. Strategy implementation. 8. Financial planning in context of business strategic objectives. 9. Process management incl. motivation and culture in enterprise. 10. Complex methods of business performance assessment. 11. Business strategie evalution. 12. Specifics of closure of a business. Company in the context of globalisation.

Assessment methods
The compulsory attendance at the exercises, resp. common consultations - at least 75 % in present form of studies and at least 50 % in combinated form of studies. Credit - the case study solution at the exercises or the commnon comsultations (alternatively the attendance compensation). Examination - the semestral work preparation (on the assigned topic) and its defence (resp. the additional theoretical questions).
